The World
The world of this game is supposed to be a thin layer between the world of the living and the world of the dead, where you're technically dead, but can still get back if you solve all the puzzles.
Puzzle Hints
- Witch loves to read and keep books in her library in a specific way, bring back the missing book and she'll do magic for you!
- A shadow sometimes tells where to go next.
- LIFE is more important than gold.
- Dragon is always hungry and skeleton boy doesn't like to pay taxes.
- Two red portals, one pair of red antlers.
- Ash to ash, dust to dust, blue to blue, gold to gold...
Background Music
There is no background music in the game, but if you really want some, here's a suggestion. You can play this and when you press "▶️Run adventure", the game will run in a pop-up while the music will keep playing from here.
I was listening to this when I was making the game a lot.

Mind bending puzzlery! There were several points where I thought for sure that I couldn't progress and then managed to stumble onto the next step. I'm happy to say I didn't need to consult the list of hints, though I did read the first one before starting, because my eyes were going faster than my brain.
I did also need to restart at one point, when I grabbed all the skulls leading to the witch and then managed to have her teleport me around, meaning I couldn't get back to the starting passageway.
It was very satisfying to make it to the end!
Thank you for playing. I'm happy that now I know someone made it to the end even without hints. You are smart!
Also thank you for telling me, that the player can get the game into an unfinishable state, which is something I tried really hard to avoid.
That's why I playtested the game many times and added for example the one extra white skull to the far right end where the stag with red antlers is, and an extra pedestal that opens the green portal next to the dragon from the other side.
I'll fix this edge case after the jam voting ends when I'll be allowed to push updates. I also plan to add a custom cursor, that changes its appearance when points to something interactable.
